Van Dolder’s Custom Exteriors is a Canadian, family-owned business that has operated in Southern Ontario for over 60 years.
We offer high quality exterior home products such as windows, doors, siding and more through our network of trusted suppliers. All our products can be installed by one of our expert craftsmen who specialize in their installation field. We have proudly served customers all over Grey-Bruce-Simcoe, and look forward to serving you.

Meet
Kris Van Dolder

Van Dolder’s Custom Exteriors – Collingwood & Owen Sound

Kris began working as a teen in the Cash & Carry aluminum business during his summers and thrived in the hands-on environment— learning the business from the ground up. He eventually moved into siding installation as he worked his way towards his business degree at the University of Windsor. Upon graduation, Kris rejoined Cash & Carry in a managerial role with tasks ranging from scheduling, pricing & selling. Today Kris runs all aspects of the business operations with the help of his incredible team in both the Owen Sound & Collingwood locations.

Tyler joined the VanDolder's Home Team in October 2025, bringing with him nearly a decade of diverse sales experience. A local to the area, Tyler grew up in Stayner where he was an active participant in local hockey and lacrosse.

His sales career began in British Columbia in 2016 in the security industry, eventually leading to a role as a Security Specialist with ADT Canada in Vancouver. In 2020, Tyler moved back home to Stayner and continued his career in sales and security across Simcoe County before finding his home with VanDolder's.

Known for his enthusiastic energy and sharp attention to detail, Tyler is dedicated to providing top-tier service to his clients. When he isn't helping customers find exactly what they need, Tyler gives back to the community by sharing his passion for music, teaching lessons to both kids and adults. Serving Point Clark, Port Elgin & Owen Sound

Brandon Smith is a knowledgeable sales rep at VANDOLDERS with over three years of experience and a strong construction background. He specializes in high-quality building products for residential and commercial needs—siding, windows, doors, decking, railing, fascia, and more.

Known for his attention to detail and time management, Brandon helps clients find the right products to enhance both function and style. With a customer-first approach and deep product knowledge, he makes the buying process smooth and personalized.

Brandon Smith

With over 17 years of combined experience in sales, customer service, and the home improvement industry, Chad brings a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver results and build lasting relationships. For the past 7 years, he has specialized in custom exterior solutions, helping homeowners enhance the beauty, durability, and value of their properties.

Chad is known for a consultative approach, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction. Whether it's siding, windows, doors or complete exterior transformations, he works closely with each customer to tailor solutions that meet both vision and budget.

Chad Currie

Chad joined the Home Team in 2023 as Warehouse Manager. With his background in the hospitality industry and an understanding of the Home Team products, he focuses on good quality of service and communication to create a great customer experience. Chad Kenyon

Dustyn joined the VanDolder's Home Team in October 2025. He is a sales professional specializing in measuring and quoting jobs with accuracy and efficiency, helping clients bring their projects to life with confidence. With a strong hands-on background in construction—including stick framing, timber framing, truss building, and metal fabrication—he brings real-world knowledge to every estimate and recommendation.
Currently in his first year of sales, he has quickly developed a reputation for being reliable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. He takes pride in understanding each client’s needs and delivering practical, well-informed solutions.
Outside of work, Dustyn spent 9 years serving as a volunteer firefighter, which has shaped his work ethic, discipline, and commitment to helping others. When he's not on the job, you’ll find him snowmobiling, off-roading, camping, or enjoying a good cup of coffee in the home he recently built.

Dustyn Timbers

Jamie spent 30 years in the business of golf, both at private clubs and retail. Jamie joined the Home Team in 2017 with a clear goal of taking care of the customer. “If they are happy, I am happy.” Jamie can be reached by contacting our Collingwood showroom.

Jamie Mortimer

Jarrett has a lifetime of experience with the Home Team. The opportunity to learn the family business at a young age from his father and grandfather, he offers knowledge and expertise about products. Jarrett has a passion for helping others find quality products to enhance their homes and he takes pride in the quality of work the Home Team offers. Jarrett Van Dolder

Spencer brings a strong background in building materials and sales to his first year with Van Dolders. After spending the past eight years living and working in Guelph and Toronto, he’s excited to be back in his hometown of Owen Sound. Spencer takes a people-first approach to every project, working closely with customers to bring their vision to life. He is passionate about building strong client relationships and is committed to serving the Grey/Bruce County region for years to come. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through CrossFit, and spending his free time on the golf course or the hockey rink.

Spencer Sullivan

With over 40 years in the home improvement industry— including 31 years with Van Dolder’s Custom Exteriors— Travis brings unmatched experience and product knowledge to every project. He built his first house at just 20 years old and spent many years on the tools, working on everything from sunrooms and additions to installing windows, doors, and siding. A lifelong Owen Sound resident, he knows the community inside and out. Away from work, he enjoys boating, golf, snowmobiling, and traveling with his wife, Michelle, and their three almost-grown children.
